LunatiK kicks off ARL GT Season 5 with Watkins Glen

LunatiK Racing kicked off the start of the Apex Racing League Wave Italy GT Championships Season 5 with Watkins Glen. In the first race of the season we see a one and done format for the league comprising of an 80 minute race instead of the usual sprint and feature race format to follow for the rest of the season. This threw an interesting challenge to the field as this would include a pit stop in the race. David Bush represented LunatiK Racing in the pro class while Nick Mathews and Collin McKenzie are in the amateur class. The race became a war of attrition as the field started to thin during the 80 minute event. LunatiK’s sister team Indy Autosport had some fast members at the event who were taking it to the lead. At the finale of the race it saw David Bush come home with P18 or 16th in the pro class. Collin McKenzie came home 1 lap down in P27 or 9th in the am class. Nick Mathews ended 6 laps down after some troubles throughout the race.
