LunatiK ARL NASCAR Trucks : Race 3 Charlotte Motor Speedway

LunatiK drivers Bradley Wilson and Andrew Navarro looked to bounce back after the result at Watkins Glen last week. The Apex Racing League NASCAR Truck league resumed at Charlotte Motor Speedway as the third race saw a return to the oval from last weeks road course. Wilson and Navarro finished first and second in week one at the Daytona oval. Strong qualifying performances were exactly what the two drivers were looking for. Navarro and Wilson locked out the front row with Wilson only +0.083 off Navarro. With the front row lockout the two drivers looked to use their teamwork to take control of the race. The lights went green with one of the cleanest races of the season. Navarro got off to an early lead and never looked back. Wilson unfortunately sustained some damage during a battle with Dettweiler which caused him to lose some pace. Navarro held a 4 second gap that he never gave up for the remainder of the race winning handedly over the competition. Wilson held his ground but with the damage fell to P4. A great result from the two drivers as they bounced back from the Glen. This put Navarro back in the lead for the drivers champion and Wilson into P3. LunatiK leads the team championship as well going into week 4 at Martinsville. The first short track on the schedule will prove to be a challenge of keeping it clean.
